Wine-country building projects put architectural metal on display in a way most commercial work doesn't — racking, railings and trellises are functional and part of the guest experience. Here's what typically goes into that work.
Custom steel racking is built to the specific bottle formats and cellar dimensions of the space — standard bottles, magnums, and barrel storage all have different structural and spacing needs. We fabricate to the winery's layout rather than working from a stock catalog, which matters when cellar space is tight and every row needs to fit.
Steel trellises, arbours and estate gates are usually TIG-welded and finished to an architectural standard — consistent weld lines, no visible grinding marks, and a finish (powder coat, raw steel with clear coat, or stainless) chosen to match the property's aesthetic.
A tasting room or hospitality building's staircase is often the most-photographed piece of metal on the property. We treat these as architectural work first, structural work second — still fully code-compliant, but finished to a standard that holds up under close inspection, not just structural load.
